Let's get one thing straight about JD Vance's so-called populist crusade. You don't get to claim you are the voice of the forgotten working class when your entire political existence was bought and paid for by Silicon Valley billionaires.
Vance made a fortune peddling poverty stories to corporate elites, painting Appalachian families as lazy to justify his right-wing economics. Now he throws on a flannel shirt and pretends to be a man of the people. It is the ultimate grift. While he complains about culture wars on podcasts, his actual agenda is crushing labor unions, protecting corporate monopolies, and ensuring his venture capitalist buddies never have to pay their fair share in taxes.
Real populism isn't writing a condescending memoir and using working people as campaign props. Real populism is fighting for stronger unions, living wages, and making the ultra-rich pay up. Andy Beshear actually stands on picket lines. Vance just stands wherever his wealthy donors tell him to. Working people do not need a tech bro tourist trying to exploit their pain. They need actual power.
