Don't Argue Anymore With Anyone Willfully Ignorant & Delusional

I forgot I have a blog called Durango World

I had not posted on it since 2019, nearing the end of the first Trump lunacy, I mean, presidency.

That blog post from way back then was about Trump, with that blog post titled...

Louise Maughan James Provides Best Ever British Description Of America's Trump Nightmare

On Facebook I get a good look at a lot of the right wing nutjob nonsense, like that which you see in this blog post, two Facebook memes I combined into one, adding a drop shadow effect.

The first suggests that the four years Biden was president was a disaster, and that if you still hate Trump after experiencing Biden, then you are the problem.

Yes, that seems quite logical, well thought out and fact based. The Biden years saw the economy grow every quarter of those four years, which has not happened any previous presidency. Biden got a massive infrastructure bill passed, something Trump claimed he was going to do, but never did. Trump made America an international laughingstock during his first term. Biden restored international respect for America. In the short time Trump's second term has been underway he has managed to alienate our allies, in various ways, sided with Russia in the UN, made a fool of himself in the Oval Office with Zelensky.

How does one manage to be so obliviously ignorant that you think the Biden years were a disaster?

The other meme is a real doozy. You can't argue with anyone on the left because of their exhausting ignorance and delusion.

Actually, most of us who lean left are well-educated, which is why we prevail in any discussion in which facts, reason and actual knowledge are in play.

Now, I won't identify whose Facebook page I took these memes from. Suffice to say I see this type stuff regularly on that Facebook page. Often the person cluelessly shares something which does not mean what he thinks it mean. In that the point being made is not the point he thinks is being made. Stuff, like not getting that Trump is being made mock of, not being made non-mock of.

I find it particularly amusing that this particular person makes reference to willful ignorance and delusion.

This particular person was held back a couple grades during his school years. And was not able to graduate from high school due to insufficient credits. I do not know if this person got himself a GED, post his high school years, or if he tried to do so.

The evidence, as seen on Facebook, would suggest no GED...
